The Commonwealth Games 2010 will start with a grand opening ceremony which is scheduled to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Costing

As per the official announcements, the Indian Government will be spending approximately 1.6 billion US Dollars for Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi. This budget does not include the expenses for development related to non sports infrastructure. As stated the Commonwealth Games Delhi, 2010 is going to be the most expensive ever. In comparison, the expenses for the last Commonwealth Games held at Melbourne, Australia were approximately 420 million US Dollars.
